GIVE JOY TO FAMILIES AMONG US IN NEED!!

The HMS PTA is sponsoring SIXTEEN families in need, in our immediate area ... Please join us in helping these families experience the spirit of the holidays and the support of the HMS “family!” The PTA will be presenting a basket for each family. All items should be dropped off by the morning of FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15. Items can be dropped off at the front office during school hours, or during morning car pool DECEMBER 4-8 and DECEMBER 11-15.

Specific items that are needed can be found below, under "click here". We realize that some people do not have time for shopping, so we are also accepting cash, checks, and gift cards; please make checks payable to HMS PTA.

This holiday season provides us all with an opportunity to come together as families and receive the joy of giving as we GIVE JOY!!! ... If you are looking for a way for your child to ‘give back’, they can volunteer for our carpool collection and donate their time, or sign up on our website for an item and shop with you. Please help share the holiday spirit with these families who are right around us.

8th Grade Dance Committee Volunteers

VOLUNTEER SIGN UP ONLY: we our creating and building our committee for the 8th Grade dance. This should not only make things run smoothly but we will all have a great time doing it!! We are meeting Monday, November 13, at 9am in the cafeteria. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO MAKE IT, that's OK!! Please indicate on the sign-up below where you would like to assist. We will be in touch!!!
If you are able to make it, please sign up where you would like to help out. We will discuss the roles more in depth on Monday so if you are unsure, just come to the meeting. 
Our 8th Grade Dance will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 7:00pm to 10:00pm with a weather date of February 3, 2018. Please consider volunteering to help us plan a beautiful and exciting evening/memory for our children. Our "secret theme" will be announced at a volunteer meeting on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 9:00am in the cafeteria. We will be announcing to our students on Tuesday afternoon November 28, 2017 with "Save the Date" locker magnets.

Front Desk Greeter

Can you spare a few hours every week or every other week? We would love to have you volunteer as a Front Desk Greeter!! It's a great way to interact with the students and parents, helping with answering the buzzer/door bell, visitor check-in, checking students in and out of the building, and helping parents locate where to drop off items for their student. Volunteer opportunities are offered Monday through Friday with (3)- 2 hr. time slots, 8:30a-10:30a, 11:00a-1:00p, and 2p-4p.  Please consider helping out the front office with a bit of your time, we are so grateful to have you!!SaveSave
